Ing. Mag. Gottfried Amtmann, a very experienced Senior HR Manager with technical background joined the team of Coverdale Austria in 2010. During the last years he has been working as Trainer and HR Consultant besides his career in line management function.

Until mid of 2010 he was Human Resource Director of KNAPP AG, an international company in the industrial branch. He got to know Coverdale as a customer, when KNAPP AG asked Coverdale to develop and deliver a tailored leadership program for young leaders.

In the last 17 years Gottfried Amtmann gained a lot of experience in different Leadership roles in HR and Controlling, e.g. with MAGNA (Automotive Industry), Gaulhofer (window producer). With his broad experience he works as lecturer at the Fachhochschule Joanneum where he teaches students Human Resource Management and Leadership Skills.

He is still very proud of his technical basic training at  HTL Graz-Gösting, which helps him now in his new role to build good relationship with participants of companies with technical focus. He has a degree in business administration, and has done a lot of further development in strategy development (Managementzentrum St. Gallen), a diploma as accountant and payroll specialist, and a train the coach.

Gottfried Amtmann is an avowed fan of the city of Vienna and likes to work there, although he will concentrate on the federal states of Styria, and Carinthia, the southern Austrian region and will spread the Ideas of Coverdale there. He will stay in Graz with his family, his wife and his three daughters. Living with 4 women has made him a gender specialist over the years. ;-)

He fills his remaining free time with playing soccer and playing the guitar or drinking a good glass of wine - or two.
