Competence Development
Competence management is used in the HR context to effectively use and further develop the potential that every company has based on existing employee skills and abilities.
Competences can be developed by training the action anchors relevant for every competence. We use the KODE® Competence Atlas by Erpenbeck and Heyse to describe competences.

OUR OFFER
We use the KODE® competence model on the one hand in recruiting and on the other hand for personnel development.
Together with our clients, we develop competence profiles based on their respective role or job descriptions.
The role holders fill out a questionnaire and carry out a “self-assessment” of how they are currently using their skills.
In the course of coaching, the difference to the target profile is analysed and the learning topics for the respective person are determined. Based on these results, tailor-made competence development programmes are created.
If KODE® is used in recruiting, we conduct interviews based on the KODE® target profile and support our clients by making the development needs of the individual candidates visible after a detailed coaching discussion between candidate and consultant.
The KODE®-Procedure

KODE® stands for competence diagnostics and development. The KODE® method is a worldwide unique analysis method for the direct measurement of individual abilities to act. The method was developed by Prof. Dr. Volker Heyse and Prof. Dr. John Erpenbeck in the mid-1990s. It is used exclusively to record and strengthen the ability to act and self-organisation skills, which can be developed and extended.
With the help of an actual – target profile comparison (KODE® Bridge), it can be determined how a person currently uses her competences. The deviation between the actual and target profile is explored in the course of a detailed coaching and the learning needs are determined.
