When people attend a training course, we observe three patterns of behavior repeatedly: Some are visitors, some come but behave like prisoners, and some come to learn.

Last weekend, an international Train the Trainer took place near Erding, in the Landhotel Hallnberg, with colleagues from Germany, Austria, and the UK participating. Together, they took on the role of participants, explored our core topic of “collaboration,” and explored the finer points of using the Coverdale target.

As well as having great fun completing the tasks, it was once again imposing for us coaches to see the group’s learning curve. After three days, we can say that our new colleagues belong to the group of learners.

The participants embraced the spirit of collaboration, seizing every opportunity to network with other consultants from our system and collectively explore the ‘DNA’ of Coverdale. This shared learning experience was truly inspiring.

As one participant put it: “It was mindblowing”.
